Dive White Island, Whakatane
Dive White is a division of Sportsworld Whakatane. They are a full PADI dive centre, with complete gear sales, training and regular trips to White Island. Comfortable, efficient vessel takes you on the 1.5hour trip to the island. All dives are guided by dive professionals. Lunch and refreshments are included in your day.
The Island offers some of the countries most spectacular diving with 20 plus metre visibility being very common.There are a number of dive sites in the White Island area and it is common to see huge numbers of fish. Blue Mao Mao , Kingfish , Golden Snapper, Moray Eels , Stingray are just a few of the fish you could see . Also in season the giant Pack Horse Crayfish are a spectacular sight.
