Deliver the mail and groceries to families that live in these beautiful remote places. Also say 'Hi' to the kids waiting on the wharf for their schoolwork to be delivered by correspondence.

Upon arrival at Ship cove step back in time. Observe Captain Cook's memorial, walk along the beach or dabble in the creek. Imagine where Captain Cooks ship the Endeavour was anchored and observe the resident Oyster Catchers, Weka & Paradise Ducks.

The track offers superb views, natural unspoilt beauty and an entire range of overnight accommodation. The track is open year round offering long summers and calm, clear winters.

At Beachcomber Cruises we have a number of walk options to make your trip hassle free. Whether it be a one day walk, just a couple of sections of the track or you wish to complete the entire 71 kms Beachcomber is best.

An additional $5.00 per person is charged for those wanting to spend one and a half hours on Motuara Island Bird Sanctuary with our 8am departure (October to April).
