Annerleigh B&B is a new luxury Bed and Breakfast where guests can be assured of a warm welcome and a memorable stay.
Your hosts Lynn and Ian Brownlee have given every attention to detail in their elegant home. Each guest room has TV and coffee and tea-making facilities and our Crusader lounge is for the exclusive use of guests, where you can enjoy a coffee, read or watch the large screen TV.
The internet is available in all rooms. Lynn and Ian are avid rugby fans. They share their home with 2 little Lhasa Apsos Teddy-boy and Dolly-ann.
Wonderful facilities
Alternatively, you are welcome to share the formal lounge where, in the winter, or cold autumn mornings, a roaring log fire will greet you. Ian sourced the beautiful marble surround, some 3 hundred years old, from a demolition yard in Christchurch. This is particularly stunning. The home is also centrally heated.
All rooms have ensuites with jetted showers and amazing wraparound mountain views from all windows. Guests can enjoy sitting on the wide verandahs to read, enjoy a glass of wine or just soak up the views.
Fantastic surroundings
The Hanmer village is only a short stroll away via the picturesque Crawford Walkway where you will find the Thermal Pools and a variety of Restaurants. The attractions of Hanmer Springs are many, from a stroll through the Dog Stream forest walk to the more challenging walks through the forest tracks or a tramp up Mount Isobel. For the cycle enthusiast you may prefer to hire a bike and explore further. Other attractions are jetboating, fishing, skiing or just relaxing in the fresh mountain air.
Location
Hanmer Springs is an Alpine Thermal Resort only 1 ½ hours drive from Christchurch Airport. It is on the Lewis Pass highway, gateway to the scenic West Coast and Nelson Districts and the Alpine Pacific Triangle.
