Showcases: Coastline, golden sands, Adele Island, environmental promise
Description: Great southern paradise! Sea kayaking beckons in the sheltered waters of the Astrolabe Roadstead.  This trip is our most environmentally friendly on offer.  The forest fringed Astrolabe offers12 golden sand beaches to stop at. The biggest jewel in the crown on this trip is cruising past Adele Island, now predator free due to the efforts of the Abel Tasman Birdsong Trust (partnered by Abel Tasman Kayaks). Adele Island once again produces a cacophony of bird sound that is unique to the island, and as this trip is not Aqua Taxi assisted you're also reducing your carbon footprint. If conditions permit kayak sail back into Marahau on the afternoon sea breeze.
