Nicara
Lakeside Cottage stands in its own grounds with superb lakeside
views, a small beach and jetty. The boat shed will house a small
runabout. The boat ramp ensures no time is wasted for those who
want to fish or enjoy water sports. The gardens are beautiful
and there is a covered area outside to enjoy a drink or BBQ as the
sun goes down. Along the complete front of the cottage is a wide
elevated deck,an ideal place to sunbathe or entertain.
Nicara Cottage is located at 40 Ranginui Street and is only 4 doors
from Nicara Lodge where owners Heather and Mike Johnson live. They
can assist with local knowledge and sightseeing opportunities. The
Lodge based kayaks are also available to Cottage guests.On arrival
please report to the Lodge and uplift keys and maybe discuss your
stay with Heather & Mike.
Cottage
Details
The Cottage is self contained. The master bedroom contains a king
size bed with TV and storage. Adjoining this room is a small bunk
room with 2 single bunks, ideally suited to children.
The
other bedroom has a queen bed. Both double beds have electric blankets.
An additional sofa pull down in the lounge is also provided for
when those unexpected rellies or friends drop in. Beds made prior
to arrival plus a spare set of linen is provided.
Newly
refurbished, Nicara Cottage, has many features – 2 x TV’s,
comfortable furnishings, CD player, VCR player, games, books, wood
burner, night storage heater. The laundry has a front loading machine
and dryer; an iron and board are in the cottage. Bathroom has a
shower, hairdryer, electric point and heated towel rail. Towels
are provided.
The
well equipped kitchen has fridge/freezer, double oven, microwave,
crockpot and dishwasher. Cooking vessels, cutlery, crockery and
glassware are provided.
Provisions
for a basic breakfast are provided for short stay guests and a “get
you started” selection for longer stays.
