From seaweed and shellfish to sharks and seabirds - the marine environment
of southern New Zealand is rich and diverse. The New Zealand Marine
Studies Centre rolls back the tide to introduce the secrets of the
Southern Ocean to visitors.
Peek
inside a shark egg, shake hands with an octopus plus discover why
albatross, penguins and seals make Otago Peninsula their home.
Join
our knowledgeable staff for a guided tour of the Aquarium where
they will captivate you with stories of their underwater encounters!
