our friendly family accommodation situated at Lake Wanaka in New
Zealand's beautiful South Island, an area that offers unspoilt natural
beauty and a variety of things to do and see. Wanaka is a favourite
holiday destination all year round attracting skiers in the winter
season and those who come to enjoy the beautiful lakes and rivers
in the warmer months.
We
are in a quiet location enjoying mountain views, including Treble
Cone skifield. We are an ideal base for Wanaka as we are situated
1.5kms from the town centre, a pleasant 15 minute stroll to the
shops, restaurants and the lake.
We
offer 12 spacious, recently refurbished, well-appointed units, ranging
from family apartments to studios, sleeping 1-7. Guest facilities
include children's play area, wireless internet, large outdoor seating
areas with BBQ, laundry, ski drying room and in-ground swimming
pool.
Our
units have a modern decor with Sky TV, full kitchen facilities,
telephone and electric blankets. Continental breakfasts are available
on request.
There
are endless things to do in Wanaka ranging from navigating the many
walks and bike rides in the surrounding areas, to enjoying the wine
trails offering wine enthusiasts great touring days. A growing number
of restaurants and cafes offer innovative food all year round, and
for the more adventurous there are many high adrenaline adventure
sports such as skiing, heli-biking or canyoning.
Places
of interest to visit during your stay include the world-famous Puzzling
World, the Warbirds Museum, and the local/quaint Paradiso Cinema
with its couches and gourment bistro. There are also 4 local skifields,
the award-winning Wanaka Beerworks and many more attractions.
