The landscaped lake, gardens and orchards around Hydrangea, Magnolia
and Flax Lodges ensure peace and privacy and the fine appointments
within the lodges are equal to the highest international standard.
Each fully self contained luxury lodge has two bedrooms with
queen or single beds, a complete international kitchen and large
living space opening on to decks to the east and west for all-day
outdoor living. The colours and furnishing used in each lodge and
the tiles in the bathrooms reflect their individual names. Guests
will find the peace here conducive to a restful stay in all seasons
although the exciting cities of Napier and Hastings, and the charming
village of Havelock North are just ten minutes away.

Cottages are
in the middle of Hawke’s Bay’s prestigious wine country. In spring
and summer the numerous vineyards carpet the area with leafy greenness,
in autumn they hang heavy with grapes and as winter approaches their
leaves turn into a riot of red and gold.
Many of the wineries in their vineyard settings have restaurants
where excellence in both food and wine is paramount. At all of them
visitors are welcomed and able to taste and buy wines which have
earned world wide acclaim. Some have winery tours where the magic
of turning grapes into wine is described by knowledgeable staff
members.
