Lake
Hawea Motor Inn is located on State Highway 6, which is the main
travelling route between the West Coast and Queenstown. The popular
township of Wanaka with its selection of great restaurants, cafes,
shopping and visitor attractions is only a short drive from the
Motor Inn.
Accommodation
You can be assured that your motel unit will have stunning views
over the lake and surrounding mountains with towering snowy peaks.
Accommodation includes studio units that can sleep a maximum of
2 people, 1 bedroom apartment units comfortably sleep 4 - 6 guests
and 2 units are fitted specifically for wheelchair access. All units
are fully serviced on a daily basis and have tea and coffee making
facilities.
Backpackers
Budget minded travellers are also well catered for - we offer million
dollar views at very affordable rates in the Lake Hawea Motor Inn
Lodge. The
Lodge can accommodate a maximum of 40 people and tariffs include
linen and towels. Rooms sleep between 2-4 people with shared facilities.
Group discounts are also available.

area, shared laundry/drying room, restaurant, conference facilities,

Restaurant and Bar
The Lake Hawea Motor Inn Restaurant enjoys sweeping views over magnificent
Lake Hawea and during the winter months the roaring open fires create
a welcoming ambience for diners. Open 7 days a week for breakfast,
light lunches and evening dining, guests can enjoy a beverage and
relaxing views while our chef does the hard work! Any trout caught
by our guests in the local lake can be cooked for you in the restaurant.

large reception room is able to seat 150 guests and various catering
and beverage options are available to suit your wedding budget.
Our function co-ordinator can assist with all other wedding arrangements
you may require, and with accommodation for up to 100 people, we
are more than happy to put together an entire wedding package for
you and your guests.

Lake Hawea and can advise on local lake and river fishing and arrange
