Nestled
in the foothills of Mount Egmont in Taranaki, Koramo Cottage is a
self contained fully furnished three bedroom cottage/holiday home,
set in private gardens with wonderful views of Mount Egmont and the
distant Taranaki Coastline.
The
Cottage is located on Wylam Dene Farm, a 77 hectare dairy farm milking
180 cows. Nuky Brown is our lovely friendly highland calf, a very
special pet to the Cram family and all those who visit.
We
have set Wylam Dene Cottage up as a place where families, couples
or friends can come and relax with all the comforts of home. It
is tastefully decorated and furnished. The section is fully fenced.
There are reference books about Taranaki, New Zealand and local
history for those interested, plus some games, puzzles and children’s’
books. There is also a “what’s to do in Taranaki”
reference guide. For those who wish to go to the top of the mountain
please enquire when booking.
Amenities:
Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Stove, Washing Machine, TV,
Video, Radio, Swings and Slide. Toys, High Chair, and porta cot
available on request. Barbeque and Outdoor Furniture also available.
There
are some Basic food items in the cottage – we ask that these
be replaced when used. There is a log fire that burns all night
(Wood supplied). The Cottage is lovely and warm in winter with wonderful
outdoor living in the summer. (Fire guard available for young children).
