specialise in small tours
Cruise or dive the Poor Knights Islands on the Knight Diver in
a safe, fun and friendly atmosphere. Whether you're experienced
or just a beginner we can help you explore the natural wonder
of this world famous dive spot. Keeping the group numbers limited
also means better safety and more individualised interaction with
our guides.
We
can provide transport to and from Whangarei to Tutukaka and will
pick you up from your hostel, hotel or motel at approximately
7-30 am and deliver you back around 4pm or earlier if you need
to catch a bus.
Not
a diver? Snorkellers and sightseers are welcome.
We have a "First time" dive or "Resort Dive"
for those wishing to experience the magic of diving for the first
time with our expert supervision. Novice divers can feel very
safe with us, and every group is personally guided underwater.
We
have a scuba dive in the morning, then lunch with some snorkelling
afterwards, followed by an eco-tour around the islands through
the arches and tunnels. We go into the large Rikoriko cave where
the acoustics are amazing. We have another scuba dive in the afternoon
followed by the trip back to Tutukaka.
Due
to our years of diving experience at The Poor Knights we are always
able to pick sites suited to the conditions on the day.
