Bed & Breakfast, Mapua (North of the South Island, NZ) our emphasis

of over 4 acres, Kimeret Place offers privacy and tranquility. The
magical views across the reflective Waimea Inlet to the imposing
Richmond Ranges and the distant lights of Nelson City are quintessentially
New Zealand.
On a warm summers
morning breakfast may be served alfresco on the terrace overlooking
the water and mountains and with the menu changing daily and fresh
eggs from our free range chickens this ensures each day starts in
a very special way. During the day you can explore the diverse Nelson
region or simply relax by the heated pool, enjoy the views and soak
up the sun. Then, in the evening after a fabulous meal at one of
the local award winning restaurants, unwind in the spa under a bewitching
star-filled Southern sky. Our beautifully elegant accommodation
is complimented by friendly personal service and local knowledge
so that we can help you make the most of your stay.
Kimeret Place
B&B is very conveniently situated between Nelson City and the
Abel Tasman National Park. The Nelson region is blessed with the
highest sunshine hours in New Zealand which is why the local wines,
olives and fruit are highly regarded around the world. Nearly 30
vineyards are within a 10 km radius and the local artists are too
many to mention. Endless sandy beaches, trout filled streams, spectacular
golf courses, walking tracks, mountains, cafes and award winning
restaurants are all within easy reach.
Accommodation
At Kimeret Place there are 4 accommodation options. Choose from
the Luxury Suites located in the Main House or the Studio or adjoining
One bedroom Apartment. For larger groups or families the Studio
and apartment form a 2 bedroom cottage with 2 bathrooms and lounge
and kitchenette.
- The Alexander
Suite - Our premier room is both luxurious and spacious (50sqm)
and offers panoramic views of the Waimea inlet and the Richmond
ranges. Sit and relax on the balcony whilst enjoying a glass of
local wine.
- The Edwin
Suite
- Our junior Suite is again luxurious and spacious (40sqm) offering
panoramic views of the Waimea inlet and the Richmond ranges. Sit
and relax on the balcony whilst enjoying a glass of local wine.
- Studio
and One bedroom Apartments
- Our two adjoining apartments are located 60 metres from the
main house with views of the Waimea inlet, Richmond Ranges and
the surrounding farmland.
- Cottage
- The cottage has 2 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Separating
the two rooms is a lounge with TV with freeview satellite channels,
DVD, CD Player/radio and a kitchen area with breakfast-bar, gas
hob, mini-oven and grill, fridge and tea & coffee making facilities.
Outside enjoy the views from the deck and small private garden
with outdoor cooking and dining facilities. The cottage is available
on either a B&B or self catering basis.

At Kimeret Place the emphasis is on relaxation. Our large garden
provides a quiet haven in which to re-charge the batteries.
