and convenience. All are furnished with family antiques, have ensuite
bathrooms with toiletries, comfortable seating, a writing table,
TV and video, wireless internet and your own tea and coffee making
facilities. Set in an inner city location, we also have extensive
cottage gardens and ample off-street parking.
Start the day
with a delicious breakfast in the dining room with the Victorian
Lancaster sideboard, antique tables and chairs, and New Zealand
Art. You can also relax in the spacious guest lounge with its bay
window, the conservatory, or on the wisteria clad veranda.
The central
city, cathedral, parks, restaurants, shops, museums, art galleries
and much more, are all within 10-15 minutes easy walking.Suites

- We have four wonderful spacious suites to choose from. All are
furnished with antiques, crisp linen, collectibles and flowers,
have ensuite bathrooms, toiletries, comfortable seating, TV, telephone,
heating, tea and coffee, and a refrigerator with complimentary beer
and wine. Tariffs include a delicious breakfast in the magnificent
dining room - with the Victorian Lancaster Sideboard, antique tables
and chairs, and New Zealand Art.
- Master
Suite - Spacious and luxurious, the Master Suite has its own
sunroom overlooking the garden. The suite features a Victorian
four-poster bed, Georgian mahogany chest of drawers, a writing
bureau and spacious dressing room. Daily tariff (double): NZ$295
- Bishop's
Suite - The Bishop's Suite is a large two bedroom suite that
has a carved mahogany king-size four-poster bed, a large Kauri
chest of drawers, comfortable chairs in a spacious seating area
and a tranquil sunny garden view. Daily tariff (double):

- Gertrude's
Suite - Very spacious with a Victorian half-tester bed and
a single bed, dressing room, a fine Victorian dresser, comfortable
armchairs, and a large bathroom. It has a tranquil garden view
and is bathed in sunshine all day. Daily tariff (double):

- Nursery
Suite - This is a large two-bedroom suite containing a queen
size oak bed in the main bedroom and Edwardian beds in the twin
room. Each room contains early colonial furniture and has lead-light
windows.Daily tariff (double): NZ$250
- Camellia
Apartment - Complete privacy and independence. Private entrance
and garden with rose covered verandah, a sunny kitchen fully equipped
with a fridge, dishwasher, electric range, microwave etc. Separate
laundry. Lovely bedroom with kingsize bed, crisp linen and a spacious
sitting/dining room with antiques, books, TV, video, CD player,
ensuite bathroom (with shower). Daily tariff (double) includes
