with a 30km cruise across the crystal clear waters of beautiful
Lake Manapouri with its many bush clad islands, sandy beaches, and
many coves and bays, surrounded by bush clad mountains it really
is a magical part of New Zealand.
On
your arrival at West Arm you spend some time at the Department of
Conservation Visitor Centre viewing the information displays. Before
boarding our coach for the 2km journey underground into the machine
hall of the amazing Manapouri Power Station. Spend some time viewing
displays and the power station before boarding our coach for the
spectacular 22km, journey over the 670 metre high Wilmot Pass road
to Deep Cove in Doubtful Sound.
At
Deep Cove you will board our spacious and well appointed Catamaran
Charmaine Karol to spend the next 3 hours exploring the awe inspiring
beauty of Doubtful Sound with its rugged mountains clad in dense
sub tropical rainforest, waterfalls cascading down steep mountain
sides into the pristine waters below Doubtful Sound. It is like
no where else in the world. Wildlife is often sighted during the
cruise through this remote part of Fiordland World heritage area.
Doubtful Sound cruise is an experience you will never forget and
all the more enjoyable in a small group, only 20 people. Our guides
are friendly and experienced and look forward to sharing Doubtful

Remember to
bring, warm clothing, waterproof jacket, lunch, camera and lots
of film, and your sense of adventure.
We recommend that you stay in Manapouri or Te Anau and we will pick
you up free of charge from your accommodation, so you can relax
and enjoy your day out.
