Island is a live volcano 48 Km off Whakatane's Shore in the Eastern
Bay of Plenty . N.Z. White Island is one of the worlds top dive sites
, It attracts hundreds of divers every year.
Dive
White runs regular scheduled Dive Trips to the Island all year round
, Fast , efficient surveyed vessels are used for the one hour trip,
to the Island. All dive trips have a divemaster / instuctor accompanying
the divers and lunch and refreshments are supplied.
We
are a full Padi Dive Centre, and member of Scuba Scene New Zealand
operate a charter boat fleet on a scheduled dive trips to White
Island. These are the highest standard and every trip will have
a minimum of a Dive Master or Instuctor accompanying the trip.
The
Island offers some of the countries most spectacular diving with
20 plus metre visability being very common.There are a number of
dive sites in the White Island area and it is common to see huge
numbers of fish. Blue Mao Mao , Kingfish , Golden Snapper, Moray
Eels , Stingray are just a few of the fish you could see . Also
in season the giant Pack Horse Crayfish are a spectacular sight.
