shop offering a fantastic range of activities including scenic cruises
on Lake Taupo, private boat charters, trout fishing on Lake Taupo

as Scenic Cruises, Boat Charters, Lake and Fly Fishing, Hunting,
Helicopter Wilderness Experiences and Guided Hikes. Their skippers,
guides and crew are all experienced, informative and will ensure
your experience is one to remember.
Lake Taupo is
New Zealand's largest lake and the largest crater lake in the world.
Almost perfectly in the centre of the North Island, the lake framed
by white pumice and sand beaches is Taupos star attraction. At the
southern end of the lake, the World Heritage Tongariro National
Park, the 3 mountain peaks Tongariro, Ngauruhoe and Ruapehu are
a picturesuqe backdrop for beautiful Lake Taupo.
Scenic Cruises
Daily scenic cruises run twice daily 364 days a year. They take
in the Maori rock carvings and historical points of interest around
the lake. Departure times are 10.30am and 1.30pm for a one and a
half hour cruise. On Sunday's the scenic cruise offers a sumptuous
brunch as well.
Private Fishing
Charters
Chris Jolly Outdoors have five luxuriously appointed launches for
fishing, cruising, weddings, conferences, incentives and social
functions. Your Trout caught can be prepared and cooked on board
as is not sold commercially in NZ so you are in for a real treat.
The 70ft Iridium is available for overnight excursions for up to
6 guests and boasts top of the range appliances and service.
Fly Fishing
Chris Jolly's specialist fly fishing guides have the knowledge and
expertise to show the experienced angler how and where to find some
fabulous trout. They also have the patience and desire to see novice
fishermen and women enjoy their Taupo experience.
Hunting
Chris Jolly operates a hunting lodge in the Wairarapa offering some
of New Zealand's best free range red deer hunting. Packages are
inclusive of guiding, accommodation, meals, pre dinner driinks and
transfers from the station. There are no trophy fees payable here.
Taupo hunting options for red, sika, fallow deer and turkeys all
on private land.
Guided Hikes
We offer many walks of varying intensities to suit your level of
fitness. The geography and diverse terrain of the region allow you
to choose the walk of your dreams. Whether you want to view ancient
Podocarp forests, watch a variety of native birds, enjoy spectacular
volcanic terrain, cold mountain springs, old lava flows, steam vents
or coloured lakes, the team at Chris Jolly can offer all of these
walks.

Kinloch to Kawa Kawa Bay Hike & Boat Cruise
You will be met at your accommodation and transferred by 4 wheel
drive to the start of the walk at Kincloch Bay. From here you will
enjoy a 2 hour spectacular hike through native nz bush. On arrival
at Kawa Kawa Bay your charter launch will be waiting and a sumptous
lunch onboard beckons you. On the transfer back to Taupo you will
enjoy some trrout fishing and view the Maori rock carvings.

Cruises to
Compliment your 'On Shore' Event
Let us provide fantastic entertainment for your group to compliment
your 'on shore' event. We can cater for up to 80 delegates for a
dinner cruise & party, or by rafting our boats together we can
cater for 160 delegates. Chris Jolly Outdoors is renowned for hosting
fabulous corporate functions whether it is a lunch time event or
an evening cocktail party and dinner dance. The food and entertainment
is fantastic! Our team can theme any parties or product launches
and we can incorporate activities such as lake fishing, skeet shooting
and water sports. The only way to taste trout is to catch you own
- we will cook it on the spot.
