Ridge Boutique Bed & Breakfast Te Anau is a brand new, upmarket
bed and breakfast nestled in beautiful gardens with mature trees
and over 60 roses. We are situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac
away from traffic noise, but just a few minutes stroll to restaurants,
bars, shops and the lake.
We delight in
meeting new people and our aim is to provide you with a warm, personal
(Kiwi) experience with local knowledge and all the comforts of home.
We offer 4 beautifully
appointed rooms, all named after our New Zealand native birds and
can take a total of 8 guests. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with
fantastic showers, underfloor heating, heated towel rails, hairdryers
and fluffy bathrobes. Pure lavender toiletries are provided.
You are invited
to join us for breakfast in our dining room which has stunning views
of the Murchison mountains. You have the choice of 2 cooked dishes,
plus continental buffet, including home made muffins or freshly
baked croissants. Alternatively, you can have a special breakfast
hamper delivered to your room.
Enjoy a game
of Petanque, soak in our heated spa pool or just relax on the sunny
deck with a glass of wine. All rooms have (complimentary) broadband
internet connection, DVD players and SKY TV. We have a selection
of DVD movies for you to choose from or there is a SKY Movie channel.
There is complimentary port and home baked cookies in your room.
All local tour
operators pick up from our door and we offer a tour booking service.
We have plenty of off street parking and are happy for you to leave
your car in our parking lot if you are away tramping (hiking) or
doing an overnight cruise. We are happy to on-book accommodation
within New Zealand for you.
A 2 or 3 night
stay is recommended as both Milford and Doubtful Sound excursions
take a full day.
