Blue
Mountain self contained, farm style Cottages are located on the
Southern Scenic Route between Te Anau and Manapouri in Southland,
New Zealand on the very edge of the spectacular Fiordland National
Park.
Blue Mountain
Cottages is the perfect place to base yourself for a few days. Visit
Milford and Doubtful Sounds, the Te Anau Glow Worm Caves, or take
a day trip up Lake Te Anau for a stroll along the world famous Milford
Track, or the more recently formed Kepler Track.
The mighty Waiau
River offers great trout fishing opportunities. For the more adventurous,
have a jet boat ride down the Waiau River through the beech forests
of this area. Te Anau boasts a very picturesque 18 hole golf course
overlooking the Lake. All of this is minutes from Blue Mountain
Cottages.
Te Anau Township
is a five minute drive away, and if you prefer to dine out there
is a good range of restaurants to choose from.
Cottages
Blue Mountain Cottages have been recently built on twenty acres
of farmland. Each self contained cottage features a double and a
twin room. The cottages are fully self-contained and offer Sky TV
and electric blankets.
Enjoy your evenings
sitting out on the verandah watching the sun set over Fiordland
National Park.
There are an
assortment of animals for our guests to enjoy … miniature horses,
lambs, a pet cow, dogs, hens and ducks.
