of kayaking from a relaxed introduction to a full-on day of paddling.

guides will show you the wonders of this spectacular region and
you will come away with an experience that is altogether unforgettable.
This
region has a superb range of rivers, from the mighty Clutha (New
Zealand's largest volume river), the Hawea and the Makarora rivers,
to the majestic glacial fed Matukituki river. The best river is
chosen each day to maximise your paddling experience.

Kayak Guides offer a range of white water kayaking trips on Grade
2 rivers in the Wanaka region. We supply all the necessary equipment
and instruction from qualified guides for an enjoyable day of learning
and adventure.

This is a great trip for everyone - even first timers! Take in the
awesome views and get to run some thrilling Grade 2 rapids. Great
for those with only a limited time but still want to feel the thrill
of getting into kayaking.

RELAXED
FLOAT.
Departure time @ 9:00am & 2:00pm
This trip goes from the outlet of Lake Wanaka to Albert Town. Ideal
for family groups or for those who want to go kayaking but without
rapids. This section of river is mainly flat water with a mild bouncy
section in the middle.
Duration: approx. 3 hours
Price: $ 75.00 per adult, $55 for child under 14 years

instructional courses.
